A Day On Board
The Yachts

The three yachts differ in character, not in price

One brand, three completely different ways to live at sea. Choose the yacht first, then the voyage.

Evrima

understated ultra-luxury

The smallest of the three: 298 guests to 246 crew. Few enough that you never hunt for a deck chair or wait for a table — and the suites are larger than on the other two, including the only duplex in the fleet. Choose this one if you want quiet.

Luminara

newest ship, fullest facilities

The newest, from 2025: five restaurants, six bars, a wine cellar, The Ritz-Carlton Spa and an enlarged watersports platform at the stern. A full day without going ashore still fills itself — of the three, this is the one that most resembles a resort that moves.

Already Familiar

The same holiday, moved out to sea

The room, room service, the lounge, the spa, the concierge — none of these words are unfamiliar. There is only one real difference: the room stays, the city outside changes.

The Living Room on Evrima — bookshelves, armchairs, the sea through the windows

In a hotel

On the yacht

The room

Every room is a suite, and every suite has its own terrace. No inside cabins, no rooms with only a window.

Room service

The same, and it is in the fare. Breakfast on your terrace if that is where you want it.

The club lounge

The ship has bars instead. Wine, spirits and gratuities are all in the fare.

The concierge

Shore excursions, restaurants and the spa can all be arranged before you sail, rather than after boarding.

Gym and spa

Both on board. On Luminara the spa is called the Ritz-Carlton Spa.

Check-out

No check-out, and no next check-in. You arrive in a new city and your things are still in the same drawer.

Why Livewell

We pick the suite, not the category

Every voyage on all three yachts

258 voyages, seven regions, through October 2028. Synced daily with the cruise line's data.

Every suite has a terrace

No inside cabins. Every suite opens onto its own private terrace — not a window onto the sea. Even the entry category is 29 m² indoors plus terrace.

The fare includes beverages and gratuities

Dining, wine and spirits, 24-hour in-suite dining, WiFi and onboard gratuities are all included.

An advisor finds you the right one

Two suites in the same category, on different decks, can differ twofold in terrace size. That difference never shows up on a category list.

Ease isn't an adjective. It's a ratio you can work out.

Evrima carries 298 guests and 246 crew; the other two hold a similar ratio. No hunting for a deck chair, no waiting for a table. Dining, wine and spirits, 24-hour in-suite dining, Starlink Wi-Fi and onboard gratuities are worked into the fare as well.

These yachts call at 238 ports. At 82 of them there is no berth — the yacht anchors in the bay and guests come ashore by tender. On 75 voyages it stays overnight in port rather than leaving at dusk.

Some ports have no pier

A town of red roofs with sea on three sides

The yacht anchors offshore and a tender takes you in. You step ashore into a town of red roofs, a 13th-century port built on sea trade, still wearing the shape the Venetians left it. The lanes are narrow, and walking one for long brings you out to the sea on the other side.

The only inhabited island in the Westman archipelago

The yacht lies at anchor in the bay and a small boat brings you ashore. Of all the Westman islands, this is the one people live on. Black lava fields begin at the edge of town, and the volcano stands behind the rooftops. In summer the cliffs are full of puffins.

The island from The Big Blue

No pier here either, so going ashore starts with a small boat. The cliffs drop straight into deep blue water, and that water is where The Big Blue was filmed. There are monasteries up on the rock and quiet coves down at the shore, and a day is just enough for both.

Alaska’s largest stand of totem poles

No pier here either, so going ashore starts with a small boat. Twenty-one totem poles stand on the slope beside the school, mountains behind them — the largest collection in Alaska. On the day the yacht comes in, no other ship is in port.

The appearance of U.S. Department of War (DoW) visual information does not imply or constitute DoW endorsement.

All Inclusive

Per night, it looks like this

A 7-night Caribbean voyage, US$6,100 per person for the whole trip. Divided by the nights it becomes a number you can hold against a hotel — and it already covers the room, the meals, the drinks and the gratuities. On land, a room rate usually buys the room.

USD $6,100per person, per voyage

USD $871per person, per night

Of the 258 voyages, 6 come in under USD $900 a night. The lowest nightly rate is USD $577, but that is a 13-night transocean crossing: long, with many days at sea, and not necessarily a good first voyage.

No extra charge for any of this

  • Suite accommodation
  • Dining on board, specialty restaurants excepted
  • Onboard entertainment
  • Non-alcoholic beverages
  • Wine and spirits
  • Starlink Wi-Fi
  • Onboard gratuities
A menu written for this yacht by a three-star chef

EVRIMA

A menu written for this yacht by a three-star chef

S.E.A. serves a single tasting menu, written by Sven Elverfeld — whose restaurant Aqua, at The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg, holds three Michelin stars. The cloche is lifted at the table, and by the time the smoke clears the sea outside has moved on.

Michael Mina opened a Middle Eastern room at sea

LUMINARA

Michael Mina opened a Middle Eastern room at sea

BEACH HOUSE is the Middle Eastern restaurant Michael Mina, a James Beard Award winner, created for Luminara. Small plates arrive one after another with a bottle open on the table. It is included in the fare; nothing to sign.

One yacht, two award-winning kitchens

ILMA

One yacht, two award-winning kitchens

The restaurants on Ilma come from two chefs: Michelin-starred Fabio Trabocchi and James Beard winner Michael Mina. The Maine lobster pasta is sauced the moment it leaves the pan. Here, eating is the itinerary rather than a gap in it.

Breakfast without leaving the terrace

IN-SUITE

Breakfast without leaving the terrace

In-suite dining runs 24 hours and is included in the fare, the same as the restaurants. Breakfast comes out to the terrace — that morning it was a lobster croissant and a coffee, with the sea one door away.

The Table
First Time

What first-timers actually ask

Do I need formal wear?
No. There are no formal nights on board.
Do restaurants need booking?
There are no fixed dining times. Booking ahead is wise for popular hours: online from seven days before sailing, then through the app or the concierge once aboard. Only the fine-dining room must be booked, and it costs extra.
Are shore excursions in the fare?
No, they are charged separately. But anything on or beside the ship is not: the watersports off the stern platform are free, and select ports have a complimentary shuttle to and from town.
What about vegetarian or allergies?
Every restaurant on board caters for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, halal and allergy requirements. Simply mention it when booking.
How do gratuities work?
Gratuities for service on board are already in the fare; nothing needs preparing. Only spa, salon and shore-excursion gratuities are voluntary and given individually.
What about laundry?
The self-service launderette is free and has irons and steamers (irons are not kept in the suites). Send-out laundry and dry cleaning are charged separately.
